We are Homegrown

Homegrown Pathways was founded on the Western Slope of Colorado by homegrown talent.

In collaboration with partners across the Western Slope, Homegrown Pathways is actively designing a new AmeriCorps model, while building its own organizational infrastructure to deliver that model.  Planning grants from the State of Colorado, through Serve Colorado, are enabling this planning process, while we are simultaneously implementing pilots of model elements during the 2024-25 academic year.

We will submit an operational application to AmeriCorps in Spring 2025, with the planned first cohort of AmeriCorps members beginning in August 2025.

Homegrown Pathways was fiscally sponsored by Partners of Delta, Montrose & Ouray and began independent operations as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024. We extend our deep appreciation to the leadership, staff and board of directors of Partners of Delta, Montrose & Ouray for serving as a fiscal sponsor of the organization and enabling our initial launch. Partners leads a best-in-class youth mentoring program and we encourage anyone in the Delta, Montrose or Ouray county region to consider signing up as a mentor with them today!
